New Activity – Walk ‘n’ Talk
Dementia Jersey has launched a new walking group activity, designed specifically to meet the needs of people with dementia and their carers. Along with Susie, Volunteer & Activities Coordinator, our group is joined by our wonderful volunteer and keen walker Susan. Each week we meet outside Coopers at the Waterfront and do the same circular 30-minute walk around the marina returning to Coopers for a tea/coffee for those who wish to stay. Our route is in an accessible location away from busy roads and over flat terrain with regular seats for those who would like a quick break and take in their surroundings. Our activity is free but attendees need to order and pay for their own refreshments at Coopers.
Time: 14.30 – 15.30
Venue: Coopers Coffee, Castle Quay
Free | + Cost of refreshments at Coopers
Musical Memories is a weekly singing group for people with dementia and their carers. Join us as we sing well loved songs, play musical instruments and engage in musical activities. Most of all we have fun and share laughter with an aim to:

• Increase communication
