Abseil Day: Sunday 22nd March 2026

Cost:
- Registration fee: £35.00 for Jersey Heritage Members and £45.00 for non members (includes training session)
Fundraising:
We ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100. A personal fundraising page will be automatically set up when you register. Every pound you raise helps provide vital support for people in Jersey living with dementia.
Please note: Friends and family coming to cheer you on will need to pay the Castle entry fee unless they hold a Heritage pass.

Terms and conditions
- Participants must raise a minimum of £100. A fundraising page will automatically be created for you on SportsGiving following your registration.
- Participants must be a minimum age of 16 if accompanied by an adult, otherwise the minimum age is 18. There is no upper age limit. All participants must complete a waiver, including a medical questionnaire, before taking part.
- Any person’s behaviour which in the opinion of the abseil lead (Vertical Edge Instructors) may cause injury or jeopardise the safety of themselves, other members of the group or staff of Vertical Edge may be excluded from further participation at the discretion of the supervising instructor.
- All participants must attend a 1.5‑hour training session at Noirmont Point on Saturday 21 March 2026. Timings will be allocated, and will most likely be between 8.30am and 2pm.
- If a participant needs to cancel after signing up, a refund will only be issued if cancellation occurs at least 10 days before the abseil date. If cancelling within 10 days, participants may nominate a substitute to take their place.
- If the abseil is unable to go ahead due to adverse weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, the contingency dates for the event are 6th and 7th June. By registering, you agree to be available on these dates. Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event.
- Friends and family attending to watch the abseil must pay the standard Castle entry fee unless they hold a Jersey Heritage Pass.
