About me
Angela joined the Dementia Jersey team in May 2025, bringing with her a strong background in marketing, including communications, event planning and social media management—skills she’s excited to apply in support of the charity’s mission.
In each of her previous roles, Angela has supported local charities in some capacity, giving back to the community is where her passion lies and is behind her motivation for moving into the charity sector. She brings her marketing and event skills to the team to help support the fundraising aspect of the charity.
What I love about my job
I’m passionate about giving back to the community, so I’m thrilled to be part of the incredible work Dementia Jersey does in the Island.
I love being able to use my skills in communications and events to help raise vital funds for the charity. It’s a role that also allows me to be sociable and engage with the community—something I genuinely enjoy.
This cause is also very close to my heart, as my grandmother had dementia. I truly value the work the charity does in supporting those living with dementia, their carers and the wider community. The education and awareness Dementia Jersey promotes plays a vital role in creating a more dementia-friendly Island.
Did you know
Angela is originally from Scotland and loves spending time with her family, including her young son and daughter, who keep her on her toes! She also enjoys walks in nature, painting and is an avid reader—getting through around 100 books a year.
