About me
Mike joined Dementia Jersey in January 2022, bringing extensive design and digital expertise to the charity. He creates engaging visual resources that help raise awareness and ensure messages reach the community clearly and effectively.
His career spans brand, advertising, print, packaging and digital design across Jersey’s media and marketing landscape. Mike began as a trainee graphic designer at JJ Fox, spent 11 years at the Jersey Evening Post, and went on to work within publishing houses and advertising agencies before running his own creative agency for 15 years.
What I love about my job
Dementia is a cause close to my heart. Before she passed away, my mother recognised the early signs of dementia — brought on by a series of mini strokes — and I saw first-hand how worrying and confusing this was for her. Using my skills to raise awareness and support others in Jersey means a great deal to me. I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such an amazing and supportive team at Dementia Jersey.

Originally from Canada, I moved to Jersey via Germany and the UK at the age of seven. I’m married with three children and enjoy family walks with our dogs. I also love travelling, with Italy, France and the Bahamas among my favourite destinations.
