Guest Speaker Meeting

Once a quarter we hold a special carers support group meeting with ‘Guest Speaker’.

Sometimes these will be in the evening at the Monterey Hotel and feature guest speakers, coffee, cake and an activity.

Occasionally, we will run a specific event for carers, such as a Recharger Day, which will incorporate an activity and is catered, such as a Cream Tea or boat trip.

These are friendly, supportive events, open to anyone supporting or caring for a relative or friend with dementia.

They are informal opportunities to meet others over an activity and a good cuppa.

Our Dementia Advisor team attends these meetings and will be happy to chat with you too.

Refreshments: There may be a nominal fee for refreshments. This will be advised if appropriate for each event.
