Dementia Support Line
Parents’ and Teachers’ Resources
Spreading the word about dementia starts at a young age: both to reinforce the message that lifestyle changes can have a positive impact, and to help normalise conversations about dementia.
At Dementia Jersey, we have a devised a teachers’ pack to help share the message about brain health – and dementia. This is designed to accompany our brain health lessons for schools but can be used alone, giving basic information about brain health and a series of homework tasks on dementia awareness and brain health.
We have also made a pack for parents and carers to engage in fun Boost Your Brain activities together.
There are a number of other organisations with other resources for teachers and schools, as well as information about supporting young people impacted by dementia. Why not check out the following?

The Boost Your Brain campaign aligns with Alzheimer’s Research UK Think Brain Health . Dementia Jersey acknowledges their support and consent for us to share this messaging.
