Alzheimer’s Society’s biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia is available in Jersey. It aims to transform how we think, act and talk about the condition.

Dementia Champions

Specially trained Dementia Friends Champions can deliver an interactive workshop at your workplace, school or community group. Workshops are free, around 60 minutes long and enhance people’s understanding of dementia using interactive activities, Q&A session and videos. All participants will earn a Dementia Friends Jersey badge to further spread awareness.

Each session includes facts about dementia, a look at some of the different diseases that cause different dementias, and helpful tips to communicate and support those living with the condition.

With increased understand and further awareness of dementia, local people can help to make the island a dementia friendly place for those living with the condition. So book your session today.
