Since our beginning, Dementia Jersey has been committed to supporting carers of those living with dementia. In 2010, we offered around 360 places at our carer support groups. Today, we’re proud to offer over 700 places, with the ability to grow.
These groups are free, friendly, and supportive, open to anyone caring for or supporting a loved one with dementia.

Our Dementia Advisors provide a range of support options including a drop-in service, private appointments and support groups, in 2024 these services were attended by 630 people!
This service has grown hugely over the last 15 years. We originally started out with a single Family Support Co-ordinator who was responsible for this, and back in 2012 this was attended by 10 people in the first year. We have now evolved to have our own team of Dementia Advisors to meet the support levels needed in Jersey.

Since our early days in 2010 with just two staff members, Dementia Jersey has grown alongside our services, support, and activities - all dedicated to helping Islanders and their families affected by dementia. Today, we’re proud to have a passionate team of 25 making a real difference every day. 💼💜
