About me

I started working with Dementia Jersey in October 2024.   I previously worked in the Emergency Department at the Hospital for 11 years as a Receptionist/Administrator. During that time I also worked in the community for a local care agency, Positive Steps, for 3 years, assisting people with dementia and special needs.

What I love about my job

I have always been interested in caring for people in the local community so am delighted to have the opportunity to work at Dementia Jersey. My father-in-law was diagnosed with Dementia in 2023 and so working with Dementia Jersey is very close to my heart.
I am passionate about making a difference, not only for the person living with dementia, but for their family too.

Did you know

I live with my husband and two teenage girls, two rescue dogs and a cat. I love spending time with my family and socialising with my friends. I also enjoy charity walks, gardening and getting out in the fresh air with my dogs in my spare time.
