About me

John joined Dementia Jersey in November 2018 and brings with him a wealth of experience of organisational matters having worked within IT and Operations in Jersey for over 26 years for leading financial services and legal firms.

What I love about my job

I saw first-hand the wonderful work the charity does when they supported my dad and provided advice and respite for my mum a few years back. My mum is still an active volunteer and I wanted to support her efforts and also give some time to the charity in memory of my dad.

Dementia is a public health priority and a fast-growing problem; we have the opportunity in Jersey to give the very best support to people living with dementia and those amazing people who care for them. My aim is to support the charity in pursuit of its goals, to increase dementia awareness and promote a dementia-friendly society.
