Completing cognitive training is believed to help us Stay Sharp as we get older. This involves mental exercises that challenge and stimulate different aspects of thinking and memory.

Some evidence suggests that cognitive training exercises may improve cognitive performance and delay age-related cognitive decline, although the evidence is not yet secure about many of the commercial products available.

What we do know is that completed a variety of puzzles and games, as part of other small steps to Boost Your Brain, could help overall brain health. This means trying a variety of different mental exercises and puzzles – especially of different kinds and types (for example, some number-based and others word-related).
