Trek 2026
Join us on our 2026 Trek - The Albanian Alps offer an unspoilt wilderness of snow-capped peaks, gorges, lakes and dense forests, dotted with tiny stone-built hamlets that have changed little in years.
Cycle challenge
This challenge can be done on a pedal, electric or gym bike. All you need to do is complete 100 miles within the month.

Could you spare an hour or two each month to help keep our Forget-Me-Not Plot thriving this summer? 🌻
We`re looking for volunteers to help keep Dementia Jersey`s allotment, the Forget-Me-Not Plot, watered throughout the summer months.
This is the fourth summer we`ve had our plot and each year we rely on a watering rota to keep it thriving from June to October. We need volunteers to help cover the schedule throughout the summer. Watering the plot usually takes around an hour and any time you can give would be greatly appreciated 💜
We know how much enjoyment and benefit our attendees gain from visiting the allotment, and we`re excited to be running another summer programme there this year. More than 300 attendees visited the site last year, so it`s vital that we keep it looking its best.

A huge shout out to the team from Investec who took time out the office last Thursday to spend the day at our #ForgetMeNotPlot allotment space helping to create our cute herb walls - we’re so delighted with how they’ve turned out! The following day, our Gardening Club attendees were able to the enjoy planting all the herbs. Thank you team Investec 💜
Our allotment space has been designed to create a safe space for people with dementia and their carers. Our Gardening Club takes place every Friday, 10:30am – 12:00pm.

Ready to push yourself a little further while supporting a great cause? Our summer cycle challenge is a fantastic way to test your legs, explore the island and make a real difference for people in Jersey living with dementia.
This isn’t just a ride - it’s a chance to experience Jersey from a new perspective 🤩
A great challenge route idea:
Start in Gorey Harbour and head along the stunning east coast towards St Helier. From there, continue west, taking on the coastal roads through St Aubin’s Bay and out towards Corbière Lighthouse - one of the island’s most iconic (and rewarding!) viewpoints.
For those looking to go further, link in parts of Jersey’s inland climbs and Green Lane network to really test your endurance and make it a full island loop challenge. It’s the perfect mix of sea views, rolling countryside and a satisfying sense of achievement at the finish.

Micode is designed to support situations where someone living with dementia may become confused, disoriented, or unable to explain what’s happening.
If someone scans the QR code, they can quickly contact the emergency contact listed on the profile. Critical medical information can then be accessed securely using a PIN, either provided by the emergency contact or accessed directly by emergency services when needed.

The Club raised a fantastic £1,900 through their raffle.

A BIG thank you to Margaret Perree! 🎉
On 4th April Margaret celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel. She had a fabulous party and kindly asked guests to make a donation to Dementia Jersey instead of bringing gifts.

This week marks the final week of our ‘Reframing Dementia’ Exhibition.
Reframing Dementia is a photographic exhibition designed to challenge preconceptions. Featuring islanders living with dementia, it captures strength, diversity, joy, skills, love, support, and optimism - celebrating each person for who they are, not simply their diagnosis.
