I came to Jersey as a young man with my wife. Mary and I were married for 57 years and had three sons.
As a family, we spent a lot of time travelling and sailing. I built my own canoe as a teenager and even fitted out my own sailing yawl as an adult.
Throughout my retirement, I have continued to try new things, gaining my PADI (diving) and motorcycle licenses in my 70s.
I was diagnosed with dementia in 2022. I keep myself busy, attending the Meeting Project with Dementia Jersey, regularly travelling to America to see family, and going to church each week.
