Dementia Jersey is Jersey charity and is a controller for the purposes of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.
MiCode Ltd is a UK company and is a data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Dementia Jersey has partnered with MiCode Ltd to support individuals in Jersey who are living with dementia by providing them with a free MiCode (find out more about the MiCode product and how it may help you here MiCode.co.uk/jersey).
All personal data processed by Dementia Jersey and MiCode Ltd for this partnership is processed for the purposes of supporting and registering you with the product and supplying you with the associated service.
Dementia Jersey and MiCode will only process your personal data for these purposes where it has your consent which you are asked to provide when registering. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
When you register your interest, MiCode will collect your name and contact details on a dedicated page of their website and provide them to Dementia Jersey in order for a MiCode pack to be sent to you home address or collected from Dementia Jersey offices.
Dementia Jersey will retain your name and contact details in order to support you if necessary, but it will not have access to the information you may later add to your MiCode once you complete the registration process.
Once you complete the registration process with MiCode, they will be responsible for your personal data, ensuring it is secure, accurate and up to date, and made available to authorised people when you need it to be.
Personal data is stored for as long as you are signed up to use MiCode and then retained in accordance with the retention periods of Dementia Jersey and MiCode Ltd.
