Dementia Support Line
The Forget Me Not Plot, our allotment, is a space we’ve designed with such thought and detail to create a safe environment for people with dementia and their carers to come along and enjoy the outdoors.
Join us and put your green fingers to use every Friday.
Gardening activity has many benefits including:
- Sensory stimulation
- Improves attention span
- Increase strength and balance
- Provides a sense of purpose
George goes along to Gardening Club on a Friday morning and explains that being active and outdoors helps him feel happy and relaxed. Meeting people and talking to them is what George enjoys most about attending and recommends the Gardening Club to anyone as it is “very sociable with a nice, relaxed atmosphere.”
Date: Every Friday
Time: 10:30 – 12:00
Location: Chambard Allotments, St Clement

Please use the activity booking form on this page to book your place at this event.
Please note the following:

- All our activities are run by our wonderful volunteers, so we ask that the person with dementia be accompanied with someone to support them, be that a family member or a carer, unless agreed otherwise.
