Dementia Jersey's Best Practice Dementia Care (BPDC)

Dementia Jersey plans to offer a practical training programme for professional carers called Best Practice Dementia Care, which will be CPD certified and align with NICE guidelines on dementia care.

This 1 day, interactive, classroom-based programme is being designed to provide in person, scenario-based training on a range of subjects and common challenges to help professional carers who are caring for a client with dementia either in their home or a residential setting.
